Parking or Living on a Plot or Land
Park my Tiny Home Permanent or just for a time.
Knowing where I will park my Tiny Home or even make it a permanent place is a big decision.
This impacts the way I think about the land or plot I need to have.
In South Africa, Tiny House living is not a big thing yet.
Firstly decide whether you will stay in a permanent spot or are you going to move around.
For me, I will stay in a Permanent spot.
I will build my Tiny House on a piece of land and want to own that land.
Preferably a place with a nice view. I love the ocean and I would like to have a view over the Mosselbay and the surrounding ocean.
I will want to buy the property. I have a few options here. I can buy it cash, or with a bond, or with an installment sale agreement. The last option is not verily available.
Everywhere else in the world this is a common trade.
On deciding on the land, make sure it's a level ground plot. Any ground that needs excavating is costly. It has its own unique challenges.
